They offers a way for audiences to access news stories that may have been mediated or censored prior to being reported.

Because all news is easy accessible at all times. News reporters/ journalists etc have no need to narrow or filter out what they report and upload to get attention because now everything can be seen. Problems such as print finances are no longer an issue.

E.g. Immediacy is more important than ever due to news breaking on social media or elsewhere online. However, this in turn changes the approach of other news sources such as newspapers as the news will probably already be broken so different angles might be required. Newspapers now contain more comment or opinion rather than the breaking story.
- Frequency: This is really important now, especially with events such as the Epstein files and ICE being, being aware of how often it is occurring is really important for the digital age and representation.
- Unambiguity: There is so much fake news on digital technology so the news being unambiguous is important so that is is viewed as a trustworthy news site/ company.
