Gentlewoman CSP: Audience and Industry

Traditional women's magazines can be spotted from afar and are created to catch your eye et first glance by looking mesmerizing. The gentlewoman doesn't do that, you'd have to take your time and purposefully be looking for it and then read it to be mesmerized.

Womanhood, androgyny, intersectionality/ multiculturalism

It is more concerned with the sartorial fascination with the nuances of dresses than micro fashion tredns and repetitive narratives.

It is sincere and consistent

5) Website and social media research
1) Visit The Gentlewoman's website. How does it promote the magazine?
It doesn't really, it is just plain and simple just like the magazine front cover which in a way does promote it as it represents how they produce and make their products.
2) Visit the magazine page of the website. How much of the magazine is available to view online? Is this a smart marketing technique to sell print copies or is it giving content away for free?
Not a lot, just its front cover and a summary. It is because if the summary and cover catches the readers eye they'd feel the need to buy the print in order to read it.
3) Look at The Gentlewoman's Twitter feed. What content from the magazine or Club events can you find on there?
The tours and the talks
4) Go to The Gentlewoman's Instagram page. How does it encourage the audience to engage with the magazine?
Shows the celebrities/ models used for the front cover along with information.
5) What representations of fashion and gender can you find on their Instagram page?
All the clothes and poses are very gender neutral, so you can see the associate the identity of the model by how they represent themselves rather than by the outfits.
